What motivated you to earn the Seal of Biliteracy?

I was motivated to try to earn the Seal of Biliteracy to strengthen my reading and writing skills, not only my speaking. It also motivates me to improve my skills to use my bilingualism in my future career.

The teacher who has prepared me for the Seal of Biliteracy is Amanda Mendoza. Thank you Madame Mendoza for always making sure we have the resources we need to succeed. I appreciate the engaging teacher you are and your willingness to always help. 

What are your plans after high school? 

I am going to attend Emporia State University.  I plan to become an Elementary school teacher and support English Language Learners. My language skills would allow me to more effectively help students who are learning English. Overall I plan to make sure my skills create a more welcoming environment for all.
