About the Event

The Kansas World Language Association and the Open Language Resource Center at the University of Kansas will host a workshop on social justice for language teachers in the region on Friday, September 24th.  Featured speakers will include Dr. Rachel Showstack (Wichita State University), Dr. Netta Avineri (Middlebury Institute for International Studies) and Dr. Andie Faber (Kansas State University). Participants will receive a certificate of professional development from OLRC and a copy of Dr. Avineri’s co-edited volume on language and social justice.
